Dr. Darren Richards achieved his Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, graduating magna cum laude. He earned his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Studies from the University of Maine at Orono. Dr. Richards is a native of downeast Maine and graduated from Machias Memorial High School in 1994. He is a member of the Maine Veterinary Medial Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. He has a dog (Roma) and one cat (Blackberry). His favorite pastimes include camping, fishing, four-wheeling, reading, weight lifting, and mixed martial arts.
